first world, and we’re backed by some of the best names in fintech globally (folks who
have invested in Visa, Square and Transferwise), and has Joe Saunders, Ex Chairman and
CEO of Visa as a board member. Everyone at Simpl is an internal entrepreneur who is
given a lot of bandwidth and resources to create the next breakthrough towards the long
term vision of “making money Simpl”. Our first product is a payment platform that lets
people buy instantly. In the background, Simpl uses big data for credit underwriting, risk
and fraud modelling, all without any paperwork, and enables Banks and NBFCs to access
a whole new consumer market.
About Role:
As an Operations Analyst at Simpl, you will be the key member of the operations team
working   on   data   management,   internal   stakeholder   reporting   and   critical   strategic
operational initiatives.  You will have to liaise across teams, product functions and data
science to create analytical framework to dissect collections, agent performancefraud
detection and budgeting. You will take initiatives to build hypotheses around operational
problem statements and estimate scope and impact of solutions. Additionally, you will
conduct analysis – gather data, test hypotheses, deliver tactical statistical solutions,
provide final business recommendations while working in collaboration with Operational,
Acquisition and Engineering teams.
Responsibilities:
 Develop a deep understanding of core products and technologies within payments.
 Create analytical frameworks that identify gaps, operational issues and potential
risks. Perform root cause analysis, recommend and collaborate with the team on
solutions.
 Structure and implement operational and strategic initiatives by developing work
plans, gathering and synthesizing relevant data, and leading analyses.
 Work closely with leadership to provide operational business reviews and drive their
strategic and operational analysis and insights.
 Enable critical business decision making by working with fraud ops, collections and
customer   support;     Lead   the   team   from   gathering   data,   conducting   business
analysis,   and   identifying   solutions   with   effective   project   communication   and
management.
 Drive analytical insights; from metric definitions to working with engineering teams
to build data schemas and elements to bring out insights. 
 Work   alongside   the   engineering   and   data-science   team   to   produce   advanced
statistical solutions along with extending help in developing state-of-art  scientific
solutions
Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
 Bachelors in Engineering, Mathematics, Economics from any of the top tier colleges
 Advanced Excel skills with strong skills across Python/R, SQL
 Exposure to visualization software such as Qlik, Power BI – would be an add on
 Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills with proven analytical
background
 Ability to conduct research into visualization of UIs and similar products
 Flexible and adaptable in regards to learning and understanding new technologies

Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities and experience working with senior
decision makers
 Ability to work both independently as well as in a team-oriented, collaborative
environment
