As the Total Rewards Associate, you will report to FiscalNote’s Director, Total Rewards, and work closely with other People team stakeholders to shape and implement Total Rewards strategies for a growing, dynamic, values-driven organization. You’ll support projects relating to benefits enrollment and education, compensation benchmarking, and will assist in developing FiscalNote’s total rewards program and perks, focusing on offering diverse and inclusive benefits to FiscalNote team members.

What to Expect in this Position:

    • Provide support in developing and executing the company’s total rewards programs, initiatives, and strategic objectives by assisting with project management, data gathering, analytics, and program administration 
    • Research industry trends to understand market themes and identify opportunities for new benefit offerings
    • Drive forward FiscalNote’s diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging initiatives by carefully evaluating FiscalNote’s benefits offerings and providing suggestions for inclusive benefit offerings and programming
    • Gain and maintain a thorough understanding of the company’s compensation and benefits programs and handle the day-to-day administration of company benefit plans, including acting as the point of contact for tier-one benefits questions 
    • Lead benefits orientation for new team members and provide education and assistance in selecting and enrolling in benefits
    • Assist with equity tracking and plan administration
    • Manage the company’s leave and disability programs by providing team member support and education, and ensuring compliance with all federal and local regulations
    • Help with annual benefits Open Enrollment, including developing project plans, creating employee communications, and updating benefit plan system configuration and set-up
    • Work closely with the Payroll and Finance teams to communicate team member compensation and employment changes
    • Assist with compliance and filing as needed such as ACA, 5500, FLSA, and other reports
    • Support M&A activity by participating in the People team due diligence process, integration planning, and post-acquisition implementation
    • Assist with various data entry and basic configuration tasks that require a high level of attention to detail and confidentialityParticipate in other Total Rewards or People team projects as needed

What Sets You Apart:

    • 1-3 years of experience in Human Resources or Benefits related work
    • 1-3 years of experience working in an HRIS system (ADP Workforce now experience a plus)
    • Interest in learning more about international benefit and compensation programs and the desire to support our growing global team
    • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretionStrong written and verbal communication skills
    • Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task and work collaboratively in a team environment
    • Research, analytical, problem solving, and project management skills are a plus
