Simpl was founded in 2015 by Nityanand Sharma and Chaitra Chidanand and went live in  2016. 

 

Responsibilities 

• Optimize collections process & costs: Own the roadmap and execute initiatives  and projects to realise target savings - build nonlinear teams. 

• Manpower planning: own annual budgets and staffing projections aligned to  business growth, collection goals and KPIs. 

• Performance Management: Defining metrics and KPIs to measure team  performance, drive L&D roadmap and growth paths for individuals. • Manage large teams (Managers/Team leads/Agents) in-house and with  outsourced partners. 

• Own updates and visibility with stakeholders, align Collections with Org Vision  and goals  

• Align other functions in the Org with Collections for better collaboration. • Evolve and improve collection strategy to maximise impact (coverage, contacts,  etc.) 

o Develop approach basis risk & user attributes to optimum portfolio  coverage. 

• Monitor & manage key risk indicators across life cycle and execute timely interventions to prevent losses. 

• Define and roll out team targets, with processes for measuring and monitoring  for corrective actions.

o Business and Productivity (E.g., Repayment target by user cohort, Connect  and conversion rates) 

• Work closely with the analytics and data science teams to identify problem  statements and insights and drive outcomes. 

• Be updated with relevant tech solutions/tools/products available in the market. • Streamline and build feedback /insights loop from ops data and learning to the  data science team to build/enhance data models. 

Skills & Competencies required

• P&L ownership 

• Team management 

• Critical thinking, Analytical ability - data driven (basic sq, excel etc.) • Execution rigor with accountability 

• Automation for operations efficiency and scale 

• Presentation skills 

• Deep understanding of business 

Preferably:  

• Overall, 6-7 years of work experience. 

• 2+ yrs. experience as a Manager/Sr. Manager in collections ops & strategy is a  good to have.
