Account Management team members are the renaissance men and women of FiscalNote -- always up to the task of intelligently speaking about any issue a client may toss their way.
 
About The Role
Armed with our industry-changing GRM platform, the Account Manager is responsible for growing our market share within Congressional offices by supporting their existing customers, and acquiring new office revenue.  The Account Manager will look to position and sell the FiscalNote product suite into their accounts and target to meet/exceed their assigned quota.
 
You Will:
Develop and execute strategic enterprise business plans by collaborating with management, client support teams and other related stakeholders
Manage high value, strategic, client relationships focused on developing new business and ensuring high retention rates
Develop acquisition strategies for new Congressional offices
Engage with customer executive leaders to discuss business relevant solutions and articulate product benefits and advantages relative to competitor offerings
Call at multiple levels within customer accounts managing executive relationships
Identify and properly qualify client prospects and business opportunities within Congressional offices
Extend FiscalNote existing footprint within existing accounts by selling additional products & services
Exhibit fluency in the identification and delivery of value at each stage of the customer decision-making process
End to End Responsibility for Customer Presentations to include System Demonstrations, Proposals and Quotes and overall account management and customer satisfaction
During off selling cycles, co develop and execute plans to drive product adoption, and usage to our existing client base with the CSM teamDuring off selling cycles, duties will include conducting training, onboarding sessions and help with client support matters. 
 
You Have:
At least 3 years of sales experience with a deep understanding of the Federal Government as it relates to mission, function and governance
High-performance record of client managementAbility to successfully lead in-person meetings/demos with C-Suite level executives
Strong written and verbal communication abilities, as well as exceptional time & organizational skills
A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience 
Proficiency with Salesforce strongly preferred
