The Account Development team at DataFox drives value through generating  the strategic pipeline needed to support our ambitious revenue goals. Historically, our Account Development Reps (ADRs) also have a track record of promotions into Account Executives (AEs),  who further our long-term company growth through bringing in new business. We’re seeking a Sales/Account Development Manager to grow and scale our Account Development team long-term, optimize our ADR performance structure, and coach our ADRs into the next generation of DataFox AEs.
You’ll play a critical role in DataFox’s success through developing the top of the sales funnel. Our Account Development team members are incredibly smart, driven to succeed, and eager to continue honing their skills. As their leader, you’ll be a coach and mentor;  you’ll hold them accountable to metrics and goals; and you’ll be a culture-carrier within the Sales team and DataFox overall.

Here are some ways you'll make an impact:

    • You’ll lead a team of existing Account Development Reps, and own hiring and development of the team long-term. You’ll be invaluable to the business by managing our top source of pipeline generation, and being responsible for your team’s pipeline performance on a monthly basis.
    • You’ll outline and deliver best practices in an onboarding and ongoing coaching setting. You’ll build a world-class playbook for effective prospecting, lead generation, and inbound leads management - which you’ll evolve and fine-tune as we scale.
    • You’ll coach tenured ADRs to towards internal growth opportunities. You’ll be an empathetic and confident advocate for the ADR team, and will eagerly help navigate various priorities within a sales organization.
    • You’ll have an impact cross-company, such as partnering with marketing to generate pipeline and drive new business  from targeted campaigns.
    • Ultimately, you’ll help the sales team to achieve revenue goals by delivering on your team’s monthly pipeline objectives. This helps DataFox win.

Are you our next Fox?

    • You have 4+ years of experience in software/tech  sales. At least part of this experience has been in SaaS.
    • You have 2+ years of management or mentorship experience, and at least 1 year in a closing role. (Ie, an Account Executive or comparable).  
    • You’ve contributed to recruiting and leading a high-performing team of Account Development Reps (or SDRs/BDRs) and have a passion for developing career paths. You are a champion for your team, and truly love to help and see them succeed.
    • You’ve consistently overachieved individual and team targets. You have a tangible track record of driving pipeline through inbound and outbound prospecting strategies.
    • You are a problem solver, rather than solely a problem identifier, and you instill this value in your team as well. You can manage various priorities with clear communication and composure, and are adaptable in a high-growth and changing environment.
    • You’re highly analytical in how you set goals and prioritize initiatives. You can draw a clear line between company goals, your team’s objectives and production, and individual team member performance - and you have the executive presence to get buy-in for your choices.
    • You’re well-versed in Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Outreach, etc.
