To support our company’s rapid growth, we are hiring a Paid & Digital Marketing Manager reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer that will help the Marketing team in driving execution of successful marketing initiatives.

The Paid & Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for overseeing the strategy, planning, development and execution of the B2C & B2B paid advertising strategy and program, optimizing paid marketing campaigns through the development of testing and planning, collaborating internally to identify business goals and a measurement framework to address them, and creating processes to accomplish the marketing plan and meet organizational goals. This role will build a data strategy and leverage analytics to uncover insights around intentions, attitudes and motivations that drive CrowdStreet’s customer behavior.

 

What you will be doing:

  • Manage paid advertising programs both strategy and execution; monitor conversions and advertisements daily; Implement an aggressive marketing plan across various media channels to drive incremental revenue by ensuring right message is reaching the right customer
  • Create and execute digital marketing campaigns designed to acquire new customers and expand existing wallet share across the SEO, PPC, display, and other channels

  • Oversee the development of marketing analytics strategy and plans including proper selection of methodologies, techniques, KPIs and metrics; organize and manage reporting structure for easy access and use by all constituents.

  • Interpret metrics from analytic dashboards and report on trends, traffic, conversions, and overall performance

  • Develop or partner with copywriters and the content team to develop, edit, and optimize headlines and copy on a regular basis

  • Interact and meet with customers as it relates to their paid media investment; provide support to customers for outsourced paid media executions

  • Lead strategy and execution for sales lead tools and databases providing sales with a steady stream of prospects based on our ideal customer profile

  • Work with the Investments team to drive investor acquisition and growth; develop and execute new acquisition/customer growth strategies and tactics informed by data analysis.

  • Work cross functionally to develop and lead data analysis and reporting and identify actionable insights to drive new initiatives to achieve business goals. Investigate and conduct deep dives into data across CrowdStreet customer and prospect base to understand customer needs and solutions and analyze user behaviors in order to implement new, and improve existing programs.

  • Stay up-to-date on latest digital marketing and paid advertising strategies and trends, while continually demonstrating new tools to boost efficacy of campaigns

  • Optimize marketing campaigns through collaboration with other marketing staff by developing measurement and test plans, segmenting audiences, and performing web and media measurement through data collection and analysis; report on ROI to ensure optimization; manage, track and report on customer acquisition costs

  • Pull together data results in a digestible manner that outlines key takeaways and recommendations and present to internal teams that drives action, improvements, and accountability.   Meet regularly with internal stakeholders to ensure data reporting model supports business needs with data, analytics, and insights

  • Work closely with Investments, Product Management and Sales teams to meet track, monitor and optimize campaigns to meet customer acquisition goals companywide and maximize performance

  • Manage SEO program to ensure the website is a key driver of lead and revenue generation; track, report on and analyze all key website metrics including traffic, and lead and conversion metrics

  • Manage and optimize performance of all marketing tools including Salesforce.com, Pardot, Google Analytics, Segment external data providers, and other tools; oversee and drive strategy for CrowdStreet’s marketing database

 

What we must have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field

  • 3+ years of functional experience in online marketing and data marketing and analysis centered around online consumer acquisition, conversion, and optimization

  • 3+ years paid advertising experience

  • 3+ years experience optimizing performance of sophisticated marketing campaigns

  • 3+ years experience managing marketing reporting

  • 2+ years SEO experience

  • Solid knowledge of website analytics tools and marketing automation platform(s)

  • 2+ years experience Facebook advertising

  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS and experience in optimizing landing pages

  • Advanced Excel and data analytic skills driving business insights and decisions

  • Strong desire to learn and understand CrowdStreet’s business and the data that drives it

  • Proven ability to make data-driven decisions to ensure KPIs are met and exceeded

  • Strong track record of success in growing customer acquisition campaigns for new or established brands

  • Excellent multi-tasking and project management skills

  • Proven self-starter who can identify new opportunities, analyze problems and develop tactics/strategies to drive growth

  • Excellent communication skills, including verbal, written and presentation necessary

 

Not Required, But Nice to Have

  • Master’s level degree in relevant field

  • Fintech, investment management, and/or Commercial real estate industry experience

  • Experience with Pardot, Salesforce.com, Google AdWords, Google Analytics, Google Tag highly preferred
