The Role and Team


As a Senior Account Executive at DataFox, you'll seek out new customers and communicate a clear value proposition to outline how DataFox can meet their needs. You will have experience prospecting, running discovery calls/demos, negotiating, and a track record of closing new business. To be successful you’ll need to feel comfortable running full solution sales across multiple departments and industries.


We’re looking for highly intelligent and driven entrepreneurs who want to get in on the ground floor of a fast growing startup. As a member of our still growing Account Executive team, you’ll have a unique chance to tackle a greenfield of opportunities across multiple verticals and companies from SMB, Mid-Market, and F500 accounts.

Here are some ways you'll make an impact:

You'll sell into net-new corporate accounts globally and across verticals.

You'll create effective plans for opportunities.

You'll employ a consultative sales approach in assessing clients’ needs across multiple verticals and buyer personas.

You'll present to C-level executives the value of DataFox in the organization.

You'll win new business by articulating the full value of DataFox’s subscription services to prospects.

You'll provide accurate weekly, monthly, and quarterly forecasts.

You'll shape, iterate, and help scale our sales strategy by taking initiative across processes impacting our sales and marketing teams.

You'll collect and synthesize client feedback for our engineering team.

Are you our next Fox?

You have 5+ years in sales (SaaS heavily preferred) with at least 3 years of closing experience. Mid-Market to Enterprise experience preferred.

You possess an ownership mindset demonstrating drive, initiative, energy and a sense of urgency.

You've demonstrated an ability to navigate complex deal cycles involving cross-functional collaboration throughout the company.

You have unparalleled attention to detail for communication into C-Suite executive.

You have experience using (or a comparable CRM).

You've earned a BA or BS degree.

This position is based in our San Francisco HQ.
