About the Position
Our professional services team is responsible for identifying, creating, and supporting offerings that achieve the following: creates an ongoing, sustainable revenue stream; supports new and existing clients in their engagement with FN; defines leading edge product concepts designed to be operationalized as platform offerings; and hires/retains talent as a critical component of overall FN success. The role is responsible for managing a team of skilled analysts, and will require project management, client engagement, and sales support. This player/coach role involves engagement in the day-to-day delivery of service offerings, constant engagement with Business Development, and liaison with Engineering and Product. The Senior Manager of this team will help implement various processes and best practices to enable the team and the company to scale. You will lead strategic initiatives that have a wide impact on the direction of the Professional Services Team.

You Will
- Build, implement, and scale-out the Professional Services function with a focus on ensuring customer success while balancing a sustainable cost-structure
-Optimize processes and best practices for operational excellence, ensuring efficiency across the team
-Identify key service offerings that present recurring ARR drivers and content/product expansion/enhancement opportunities.
- Define and productize our professional service offerings
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product, Engineering and Account Management teams to ensure smooth customer engagements
- Hire, develop, and retain a Professional Services team to support our customer satisfaction goals
- Actively manage performance against revenue and profitability targets; maintain control of project schedules, budget and risks, managing risk areas to ensure targets are achieved
-Evangelize best practices by educating customers and becoming their trusted advisor

You Have
- 3+ years professional experience in a professional services or consulting role
- 1+ years experience managing a services or consulting organization, supporting enterprise-level clients
- Driven and Motivated by political science, law, and policy
- Passion for excellence in performance, client engagement, and problem solving
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities including processes, people, and organization.A desire to work in a fast paced, flexible, startup environment
- Strong technical skills and aptitude, with a firm understanding of SQL, Java, and scripting languages
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Track record of successfully managing a services organization, supporting enterprise-level customers
- Experience ideating and selling solutions to prospective and existing clients (preferred)
