About the Position
Our Sales Development Representatives are extraverts who understand the marketing engine and what it takes to keep it running, but they’re also comfortable enough to jump into the fire with the most seasoned of Business Development talent. As a manager, you understand our product in a soup to nuts fashion and can boil down the platform offering to truly match the audience they are speaking to. Internally they keep our machine oiled, understanding how to talk across departments and how to motivate, align, and drive the organization; to surpass goals and exceed expectations. The Sales Development Representatives need to understand the power of marketing and the value of solution selling to turn general market interest into real business opportunities for FiscalNote.

You Will
- Manage, motivate, and evaluate a team of Associates.
- Work directly inside FiscalNote's Business Development organization
- Work extensively with sales and marketing automation platforms (Salesforce & Pardot)
- Provide sales mentorship to associates
- Identify and implement improvements to our demand-generation process (especially when following up to interested prospects)-
- Manage the relationship between Associates and their partner Strategists on the Business Development team

You Have
-Worked with Sales Automation (Salesforce)
-Marketing Automation Tools (Marketo, Pardot, eloqua, etc)
-Direct selling/closing experience (software or services strongly preferred)
-Working directly with a marketing team's demand-gen operation
-Managed a team in the past
-Proved track record of being able to push the needle
