About the Role

We are looking for a peaked Talent Business Partner reporting to the Chief People Officer who will accelerate the talent acquisition of our innovative company.  As the Talent Business Partner you will lead the talent acquisition processes, execution, and talent development along with key members of the leadership team and support from colleagues in People Operations.  Your  expertise within the team will be highly valued as a part of respected function at CrowdStreet. This is a central role bringing and developing talent into CrowdStreet within a close-knit and fast paced technology-driven environment.

What You'll Be Doing 

  • Fine tune our ambitious talent acquisition strategy to be well executed and swift

  • Manage the funnel dynamics of talent, partnering with managers to reduce time to fill, while ensuring the external employment brand of CrowdStreet is pristine

  • Partner with Marketing to establish regular employment branding posts on social media channels, regular content updates to the career page, and drafting employer award submissions

  • Regularly analyze and share talent analytics and insights with our leadership team using your sphere of influence to impact our company and leadership behavior

  • Partner closely with our Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee to broaden our talent pool

  • Ensure our global compensation structure is market-based, fair, and consistent in partnership with the Chief People Officer

  • Implement our next generation ATS systems, along with internal processes to run a streamlined workflow and talent funnel 

  • Ensure new employee experience creates success e.g. on-boarding, coaching for effective 1:1’s, compensation and promotion conversations

  • Increase speed of new hire performance and ramp-up by building and facilitating comprehensive on-boarding programs for new hires

  • Help develop and promote our culture of transparent feedback to enable talent growth from within

  • Create talent acquisition plan as needed for high-growth stages using external recruiters

  • Partner with managers to understand changing talent needs and adjustments for growth

  • Maintain the “Single Source of Truth” of budgeted roles against plan

  • Support and coach hiring managers on interview best practices and/or train on behavioral interviewing

 What We Must Have

  • BA/BS degree with 5+ years of experience working in Talent Acquisition 

  • Experience in supporting talent acquisition for a high growth organization

  • Interpersonal skills to partner with colleagues and leaders, motivate people, and influence culture

  • Previous experience working in a start-up environment required, technology company preferred

  • Proven track record of creating solid relationships with internal business partners

  • Proven ability to identify a diverse candidate pipeline and hire a diverse pool of candidates

  • Experience in developing, executing, and managing talent on-boarding programs and talent development

  • Experience with multiple applicant tracking systems (bonus for having implemented as well)

What is Nice to Have

  • Experience acquiring talent in FinTech or Capital Markets industry
