Sales Development Associate - Kano at Flutterwave

This is why are looking for driven, passionate and committed Sales Development Associate to help us grow and expand across Africa and beyond.


What does it take to be a Business Development Analyst at Flutterwave


Serve as the middle man between the organization and the customers, Prospects for new businesses and identify new opportunities for the sale of the company’s services and ensure increased products and services


Other responsibilities:


  • Must be able to develop prospects for all Flutterwave’s service.
  • Conducting market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs
  • Actively seeking out new sales opportunities through networking and social media
  • Setting up meetings with potential clients
  • Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products/ services
  • Create frequent reviews and reports with sales and financial data
  • Relationship Management to retain existing clientele in respective geographical locations. 
  • Administer and ensure compliance to all sales objectives 
  • Ensures timely response to customer’s queries 
  • Must be able to match prospect/client needs with internal capacities. 
  • Keep abreast with changes in the industry to attract and impact the target audience
  • Maintain required sales records and report all sales activities
  • Make presentations on the company’s services to new and prospective clients
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related result as needed
  • Develop new business prospects in specific geographical areas


Required competency and skillset to be a waver


Our ideal candidate is an experienced executioner with at least 3 years’ experience must be very resourceful and comfortable working under short timelines and intense pressure to deliver in seemingly impossible situations while remaining flexible, proactive, data-driven and efficient. 


  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Marketing, or related field
  • Good Customer Service attitude and great Interpersonal Skills
  • Good Communication and Presentation Skills
  • Thorough understanding of marketing and negotiating techniques
  • Fast learner and passion for sales, Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
  • Aptitude in delivering attractive presentations.
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of the organization’s product and service offerings.
  • Good knowledge of Fintech, finance and digital banking
  • Good IT skills and MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • Excellent relationship management skills

Other Requirements


  • Being a resident of Kano would be an added advantage
